Born out of the red desert dust and determination the Western Desert Kidney Health Project is how 10 remote communities, local State and National organisations, decided to work together in a bold attempt to reduce diabetes and kidney disease by 20%. They did this by working with the people who live in Norseman, Coolgardie, Kurrawang, Menzies/Morapoi, Leonora, Mount Margaret, Laverton, Mulga Queen, Coonana and Tjuntjuntjara.
