Anthracnose is a serious disease of lupins caused by the fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporiodes that was first detected in commercial lupin crops in Western Australia in 1996. It is present in almost every other country where lupins are grown. It is considered the most important disease of lupins in Europe, North America and South America.
