This study evaluated the effectiveness of combined selenium and vitamin E treatments at preventing lupinosis associated myopathy (LAM) in an animal house experiment that ran for 72 days. The four treatments were: (1) subcutaneous (sc) injections of selenomethionine (SeM) and vitamin E; (2) selenium pellet and oral doses of vitamin E; (3) intramuscular (im) injections of SeM combined with oral doses of vitamin E; and (4) im injections of SeM combined im injections of vitamin E.
