"Bioscan has now been in upper primary and lower secondary schools in W.A. for 2 years as a pilot program and approximately one year in its final format. The program has two main aims : to engage students in current scientific research that benefits their local community and more importantly the Australian environment ; participating schools in association with landholders will record "useful" data, which can be used by ongoing scientific research."
