Abstract: During the project, over 200 advanced breeding lines of Lupinus angustifolius have been screened for resistance to Pleiochaeta root rot (PRR). Some lines have been shown to have less than 50% of the disease of the currently released varieties. Glasshouse tests also showed up a very high level of PRR resistance in several cultivars of L. luteus, including some early flowering Russian and Polish cultivars.
