Gnomonia has been shown to be present on planting material from Victoria and New South Wales, but not on material grown in Queensland. Cultivars appear to vary in their susceptibility to Gnomonia. Worst - Tioga; Moderate - Chandler and Pajaro; Least - Parker and Selva. Simple management strategies can be used which should minimise the spread and severity of this disease.
