Abstract: Determines the levels of cadmium residue accumulations in the kidneys from the sheep in Western Australia in relation to age, sex, season and region. Compares the kidney Cd levels for sheep and cattle of various ages on farms. Identifies risk factors associated with high levels of Cd accumulation. Recommends the design of national sampling procedures for Cd residues. Recommends restrictions for the sale of offal from sheep and cattle.
