Abstract: Farmers with annual ryegrass toxicity (AGRT) on their properties are controlling ryegrass in crop more effectively than those without ARGT. The ensuing pasture densities are too sparse for good autumn/winter production. When grass selective herbicides are applied as late as booting of the ryegrass they can preserve the winter feed and control ryegrass seed set. The grazing animal can reduce seed set on sprayed plots to non measurable levels. Therefore sheep should be an integral part of any ryegrass c
