Abstract: The refinement of MOET systems for large-scale application involves simplifying and optimizing donor treatments and resolving ambiguous pedigrees in the resultant calves. Alternative hormone sources and treatment regimes were investigated but gave no improvement over standard preparations of follicle stimulating hormone in superovulating donors.
