Market studies were conducted in eight countries considered to have the best prospects for the export of rabbit meat. The overall finding was that there were no immediate prospects for the export of rabbit meat from Western Australia to the eight countries included in the study. Niche markets for premium grade, disease-free rabbits could possibly be developed in the United States and some countries in the Middle East.
