The Beacon catchment comprises 130,000 ha in the Mount Marshall Shire. With support from the Mount Marshall Land Conservation District Committee (MMLCDC), this catchment was the first to begin developing a catchment plan. There are a total of 48 producers in the catchment, of which 60 percent actively participated in the development of the catchment plan. This report is a presentation of the work begun in Beacon and provides recommendations for the future.
