Abstract:

A reference to the major insect and allied pests of extensive agriculture. It has information on the major pests of; wheat, barley, oats, lupins, lucerne, pasture, peas, rapeseed, sheep, stored, farm trees. These pests are identified by keys, by coloured photographs and written descriptions. A brief note on the damage and life cycle should help farmers assess the economic importance of each pest on their farm. The important cultural and biological controls are given.
