Skeleton weed (Chondrilla juncea) is a declared weed in Western Australia. The APB skeleton weed eradication programme began in earnest in 1974 and is still having a dramatic effect on preventing spread. The base analysis indicated that there was economic justification for the programme, only if the time period selected for the project was extended up to and over 35 years.
