Abstract: Adjusted 200 day weights increased in both Herefords and multi-breeds. The average weight of mature Hereford cows in December was 576 (condition score 4.2), the equivalent figures for the mature multi-breeds being 596 (condition score 3.6). Theoverall pregnancy test results indicate an average of 80 per cent pregnant between both breeds.
