Abstract: (En)
Surveys of central wheatbelt farms in Western Australia have found that all silos more than three years old failed the airtightness test - the majority leaking from faulty rubber seals in the hatches and outloading points. Covers silo maintenance, testing a sealed silo for leaks, failure and repair and on-farm maintenance.
