Abstract: (En)
Trapping can be an important means of reducing feral pig numbers in Western Australia. The effectiveness of trapping is influenced by site selection, free feeding, trap type and construction method, and on the behaviour of the pigs. Includes trap and gate design and construction for panel, box and silo traps, and vertical, side hinged and funnel gates as well as precautionary measures.
