Report on a benefit-cost analysis of publicly funded soil acidity research, development and extension in Western Australia since 1992-3. In order to adequately capture the long-term benefits of soil acidity management a 30 year time-frame was used, starting in 1992-3 and ending in 2021-22. The analysis is to justify the effectiveness of past expenditures of public funds and also learn lessons for the future allocation of funds.
