This farmnote details the amount of cereal or lupin stubble needed to reduce wind erosion in Western Australia. It also helps farmers to predict when a paddock might erode, and uses photostandards to help identify what constitutes adequate stubble cover. Covers assessing the erosion hazard, stubble requirements for control of wind erosion, what weight is left after harvesting, using photostandards and estimating grazing potential.
