The aims of the project were to evaluate and identify burdock and daikon varieties (cultivars) to be suitable for Western Australian conditions; to carry out a feasibility study to evaluate market potential and requirements for globe artichoke; and to improve and develop innovative postharvest handling and storage methods for export markets.
