Abstract: (En)
This Farmnote covers the biology of the bacterium and nematode associated with annual ryegrass toxicity (ARGT) in livestock in Western Australia ; assessing the risk of ARGT developing - on permanent pastures, in silage, hay production, pasture topping and hay freeze, cereal hay crops and summer forage crops ; minimising the risk of ARGT spreading by avoiding contamination and controlling nematodes, and ; methods of testing for ARGT organisms.
