Abstract: Responses in ovulation rate to lupin feeding were extremely variable between years and between flocks. Across all 9 experiments the most consistent factor to be associated with ovulation rate has been liveweight. The results of the experiments indicate that the ovulation rate of ewes, on both low and high planes of nutrition for several months, can be significantly increased by supplementation with lupin grain. The results also indicate that insulin does not play a role in influencing ovulation rate, i
