Integrated Pest Mangement (IPM) of citrus is an example of the successful application of a coordinated approach between QDPI, the growers and a private consultant, which has resulted in the reduction of pesticide usage by the utilisation of natural and exotic biological control agents with no reduction in fruit quality.
