Abstract: Results indicated that it is in the best interest of all concenred to control the feral donkey population in the Kimberley because despite extensive sensitivity analyses, the optimal solution was always to exert some control. The value of damage had to fall considerably before this was not an option. The results also indicated that co-ordinated control was a better option than individual control as migration and therefore short-term benefits were reduced. This resulted in a lower level of effort required
