Abstract: 307 subterranean clover varieties were screened. All the clovers contracted the disease. The most resistant varieties were Daliak, Toodyay C (= FDQ 3/60), Guildford D. 47308C, 47308D, 47299A and 47299B. There were large and significant differences between the sites in disease intensity, it being most severe at Denmark and least severe at Mt. Barker. A group of varieties selected in similar trials the previous year as being the most resistant again demonstrated their resistance. They gave significantly low
