About 200,000 ha of blue gums (Eucalyptus globulus) will be approaching harvest age in the nex 10 years in Western Australia. Information on management procedures for one post-harvest option - obtaining another rotation by coppicing. Coppicing is using the stems that naturally regenerate from the base of a harvested tree. The information is drawn largely from South African experience.
