Abstract: (En)
Despite a number of influencing factors within the cherry orchard, the beetubes were successfully tested under bird-net. For two cherry varieties (Rainier and Vic) yield increases (150% and 55% respectively) were measured in rows where beetubes were employed. The data shows that honey bees have a tendency to work down rows and less across rows. The beetubes gained weight (52 to 61.6 g/day) from being fed, a dilute honey and water mixture, prior to pollination. They continued to gain weight (4.79 to 19.8 g
