"This report identifies climate change, as seen in steadily rising barometric pressure and increased variability, as the single biggest issue facing the Australia grain industry. To adapt to this, it is suggested that R&D [research and development] investments should focus on reducing yield and income variability, but also bridging the gap between actual and potential yields in high rainfall regions with low yield variability." - p. v.
