"Adoption of new crop varieties is important to growers wishing to benefit from the advances available in terms of yield, disease resistance and/or quality. With high numbers of new varieties entering the marketplace from the increasingly commercial field of crop breeding it is critical that unbiased, comprehensive information regarding performance of these lines is provided to growers and agri-industry to ensure adoption is not only rapid but appropriate." -- Project summary.
