Urana is a vigorous, hardseeded variety of subterranean clover adapted to well-drained moderately acid soils in Western Australia receiving an annual rainfall of approximately 400-600 mm per year. This Farmnote discusses the origin and description of Urana clover as well as its agronomic and disease and pest resistance characteristics, its field performance and its production and marketing.
