This bulletin summarises the results of research which aimed to determine if pasture production differs for the insoluble and less soluble phosphorus fertilisers compared with single superphosphate. Various phosphate rocks, including calcium phosphates (apatites) and calcium iron aluminium phosphates (crandallite-millisite), coastal superphosphate - a partially acidulated phosphate rock, and single superphosphate were compared in these field trials conducted in Western Australia.
