Report on a project to determine the safe inclusion level for yellow lupins (Lupinus luteus) in the diet of weaner pigs in Western Australia; measure the performance of weaner pigs fed a diet containing either whole or dehulled yellow lupins; determine the response of weaner pigs to a diet containing 150 g/kg of either whole or dehulled yellow lupins with the addition of the VegPro enzyme; and to develop a locally grown feed ingredient that will be suitable as a substitute for imported soybean meal.
