Abstract: The aphid fauna of south-western Australia was surveyed during each potato growing season (October to May) 1988-1992. Thirty-three species of aphids were detected in the survey. Of these, five species feed and reproduce on potato: green peach aphid, Myzus persicae (Sulzer), foxglove aphid, Aulacorthum solani (Kaltenbach), potato aphid, Macrosihum euphorbiae (Thomas), cowpea aphid, Aphid craccivora Koch and Rhopalosiphoninus staphyleae (Koch).
