The Western Australian beef industry is poised to expand production in response to improved export opportunities in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. There are a number of beef processors and exporters with substantial experience in exporting beef to international markets. These companies can supply a wide range of beef products. Most beef produced in Western Australia is grass-fed. however, grain-finished beef is produced at certain times of the year. The beef industry has been in a period of contraction
