Abstract: (En)
The objective of this project was to develop decision support systems as an aid to better management of important foliar fungal diseases in broadacre agriculture in Western Australia. The project was designed primarily to address two diseases, Anthracnose in lupins and blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans) in canola. Having developed a modelling framework for these two diseases, the framework was also intended to be applied to other diseases such as blackspot (Mycosphaerella pinodes) in field peas and Ascochy in chickpeas. Three models were produced : Anthracnose Tracer (in relation to Anthracnose in lupins), Blackleg Sporacle (in relation to blackleg in canola) and Blackspot Appraisal (in relation to blackspot in field peas), and an electronic estimator, e
