Western Australian faba bean production is growing and export volumes are increasing. In contrast, production is declining in many of the world's traditional faba bean regions. World trade, however, is growing. China dominated the world export market and is growing rapidly as an exporter. The UK and Australia are the second and third largest exporters respectively. As Western Australian production increases, the State will increasingly play an important role in Australia's ability to supply faba bean
