Since that review, staff and capital allocated to irrigation research and extension have decreased substantially. Scott Moorhead, an irrigatio engineer, resigned in 1995 and Greg Luke, the Irrigation Group Leader, transferred to Albany and is now concentrating on policy issues. Since the introduction of the funder, purchaser, provider model in 1996, irrigation work by Agriculture Western Au ustralia since 1994 can be summarised under the following 9 headings: 1.
