Abstract: (En)
Field experiments were conducted between 1991 and 1995 at six locations in the eastern and north-eastern wheat belt of Western Australia (Beacon, Morawa, Merredin, Mullewa, Tardun and Wilgoyne). Early maturing genotypes (earlier than commercially available cultivars) were compared with standard cultivars (Wilgoyne, Kulin, Gamenya and Spear) for development (phenology), water use and yield. Detailed measurement on morphological characters (leaf number, green area index), sowing density, the effect of pos
