The aims of this 2 year project were to: 1. Estimate critical ranges for petiole nitrate-nitrogen in potato crops to enable growers to assess the nitrogen status of processing potato crops. 2. To predict potato yield and processing quality effects of nitrogen (N) and potassium (K) fertilisers applied in response to petiole nutrient levels during the early stages of crop growth.
