Sixty five samples of fleece wool from sheep treated with the insect growth regulator ecto-parasiticides, cyromazine, triflumuron and diflubenzuron were analysed for residues. Sufficient numbers of flocks treated with cyromazine and triflumuron were sampled. However, due to low frequency of use, few samples from flocks treated with diflubenzuron and no samples from flocks treated with magnesium fluorosilicate (MgFSi) were collected.
