Tranby is a new triazine tolerant variety of canola developed by the Department of Western Australia for Western Australian conditions. This variety is suitable for cropping in the eastern, central and north-eastern wheatbelt because of its early maturity and replaces varieties like Surpass 300TT and Karoo. It has good oil quality and yield performance and gives growers the option to direct harvest.
