Abstract: (En)
Brome grass (Bromus rigidus) is very competitive with wheat and has become an important weed in low rainfall regions because of the adoption of early seeding techniques, the staggered germination pattern of brome grass and the lack of selective herbicides in wheat. Choice of crop rotation and herbicide usage will influence seed carry-over of brome grass into wheat and its yield potential. The lupin-wheat rotation provides the best opportunity for breaking the life cycle of an existing brome grass populati
