Abstract: (En)
The aim of this study is to develop a decision making process that will aid in the development of future farming systems. This study used the sandplain farming system of the Northern Agriculture Region (NAR) in Western Australia to develop this process. A major farming system in the NAR is the wheat/ lupin rotation. This report explores the risks (environmental, social, biological, physical and economic) to and from this farming system. A possible future farming system for the NAR sandplain is introducednd the risks associated with the transition and sustained application of this system are investigated.
