"Stagonospora nodorum is a major fungal pathogen of wheat in Western Australia. Resistant germplasm is under complex genetic control, making it difficult to breed new varieties with enhanced levels of resistance. There is a need to identify molecular markers linked to minor genes controlling resistance suitable for implementation in breeding.
